Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Bethania Valverde (ranked 1149 p4p, 2692 weight class) and Tommy Harinck (ranked 59 p4p, 144 weight class). Valverde comes to the cage accompanied by LLAMAME YA. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harinck takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Valverde missing with a left hand there. Harinck was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Valverde bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Harinck defending well as Valverde loads up on a big left hand.
Valverde looks to land a right hand but Harinck moved out of range.
Harinck moves out of range of the strikes.
Valverde lands with a nice body punch.

Harinck is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Valverde's half guard.
Harinck prevents Valverde from standing back up.
Harinck wants to pass the guard but Valverde is defending well.
Harinck trying to control the action but Valverde is working from the bottom.
Harinck passes to side control.
Valverde knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Harinck on the ground.

Harinck is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Valverde has escaped the position, nice work there.
Valverde is not content to let Harinck control the position.
Valverde definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Harinck is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Valverde's shoulder. That is not cool.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Valverde avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Harinck.
Harinck controls the position.
Harinck is looking to take a break and control but Valverde is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Valverde explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
Valverde looks to throw the jab but Harinck is out of range.
Harinck with the counter takedown but Valverde avoids it easily.
Valverde scores with a shot to the body.
Harinck ducks under a wild hook from Valverde.
Harinck drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Valverde defends it well.
Harinck doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Good work by Harinck as he checks the leg kick.
Harinck tries to counter by closing the distance.
Valverde jabs Harinck right on the nose. Harinck blinks but takes it well.
Harinck jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Valverde cracks a nice hook into Harinck's ribs.

and Harinck counters by clinching up.

Harinck ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Harinck no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Harinck is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Harinck has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Harinck is trying to keep Valverde in close.
Valverde would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Valverde has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Harinck to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Valverde is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Harinck pulls down on the head and he's put Valverde to sleep! This one is all over!
