Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Brian Kingman (ranked 3029 p4p, 5511 weight class) and Giant Grizzly (ranked 307 p4p, 417 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brian Kingman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Giant Grizzly!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, John Kavanagh and Anthony Taglia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice straight punches there by Kingman. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Kingman.
Kingman lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Grizzly at a distance.

Grizzly pushes Kingman up against the cage in a clinch.

Kingman breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Grizzly moves in looking to clinch but Kingman pushes him off.
The fight stays on the outside here - Grizzly looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Kingman seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Kingman lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Kingman gets tackled into the cage by Grizzly. Grizzly maintains the clinch.
Grizzly has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Kingman after a bit of a struggle.
Kingman gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Grizzly.

Kingman breaks the clinch.
Grizzly blocks the body kick.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Grizzly tries to clinch up.
A shot to the liver by Kingman. Beautiful body shot.

Grizzly rushes Kingman and presses him up against the cage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Kingman's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Kingman throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Grizzly tries to clinch but Kingman is having none of it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Grizzly tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kingman paws at him with a jab and circles away.
It looked like Kingman wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Kingman scores with a jab.

Grizzly is rocked!
Kingman lands a nice hook to Grizzly's body. Grizzly takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Grizzly is still on wobbly legs! Can Kingman finish him?
Kingman cracks Grizzly with a left hook right on the temple and Grizzly goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Kingman lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Grizzly is OK!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Brian Kingman!
Brian Kingman decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
