Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Pate Mfer (ranked 885 p4p, 2363 weight class) and Paddy Murphy (ranked 142 p4p, 328 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Murphy's choice of entrance music: Johnny, I Hardly Knew Ya. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Pate Mfer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Paddy Murphy!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Lou da Vinci and John Kavanagh.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mfer lands a nice hook to Murphy's body. Murphy takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Murphy is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Mfer looks to score with a jab to the body but Murphy is just out of range.
Mfer closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

It looks like Pate Mfer has been cut.
Mfer throws a shot from downtown. Murphy moves away and avoids it.
Mfer fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Murphy on the side of the head.
A slow jab from Mfer misses its intended target.

Murphy forces Mfer back against the cage and clinches.

Mfer pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Murphy looks to clinch
and Mfer cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Murphy drops his hands momentarily and Mfer takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Mfer cracks Murphy with a right hand to the side of the head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A bone on bone clash there as Murphy blocks the leg kick.
Murphy is looking to clinch.
Murphy keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Mfer cracks a nice hook into Murphy's ribs.
Murphy uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Mfer.
Murphy connects with a high kick.
Murphy throws a hook but Mfer blocks it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Mfer stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Murphy moves away from the strike by Mfer.
Murphy drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Murphy is rocked!
Mfer fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Murphy square on the jaw! Damn, Murphy is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!
