Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nick Diaz (ranked 1505 p4p, 2972 weight class) and Chester Nimitz (ranked 220 p4p, 396 weight class). Diaz comes to the cage accompanied by Ceremony. Both these fighters are unbeaten, so somebody's 0 has got to go!Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Nick Diaz! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Chester Nimitz! The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Reed Andrews and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Diaz drives through with a takedown into Nimitz's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Diaz preventing the sweep. Nimitz is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Diaz has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Diaz is looking to work some ground and pound but Nimitz has wrist control. Diaz wants to control from the top but Nimitz keeps moving. Nimitz is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Nimitz passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Diaz! Nimitz landing strikes from the mount. Nimitz lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Nimitz is in the full mount, landing strikes. Nimitz has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Nimitz avoids the attempt from Diaz to control. Nimitz is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Diaz can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Diaz is rocked!
It looks like Nick Diaz has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nimitz is in full mount looking to finish with strikes. He lands a big shot, followed by another and Diaz goes limp! The ref jumps in to end the fight - a big win for Nimitz!

A victorious Chester Nimitz thanked his army of followers in his post fight interview, telling people to make sure they follow him on Twitter. Nick Diaz spoke after the fight, saying 'Sometimes you win some, sometimes you lose some, sometimes you can't be at 100 percent'.
