Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rantang Gustus (ranked 1028 p4p, 2662 weight class) and Jetmir Erminus (ranked 120 p4p, 281 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jetmir Erminus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Erminus lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Gustus.
Gustus throws a leg kick
and Erminus counters with a straight right hand.
Erminus scores with a nice strike.
Gustus definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Gustus swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Erminus appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.

and Gustus takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Rantang Gustus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Erminus feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Gustus is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Erminus defends well.

That was a close second round but I would say that Rantang Gustus will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Rantang Gustus overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Gustus is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Erminus is just riding it out for now. Gustus eventually gives up the hold.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Gustus stalling away here and it's allowed Erminus to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

Gustus stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Erminus swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Gustus passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Erminus can't do much from the bottom here.

Gustus wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Erminus, who protects the arm well.

The crowd cheers as Erminus lands an impressive looking overhand right. Gustus doesn't seem phased though.

Jetmir Erminus tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
