The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Sandra Marshall and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chipman throws a sloppy head kick and Aisland moves out of range easily.
Chipman plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Aisland checks a low kick from Chipman.
Chipman swings for the body but Aisland moves out of range.
Aisland darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Chipman is defending against the submission attempts here by Aisland.
Aisland is keen to just control but Chipman is a slippery customer.
Aisland is looking for a kimura here.

Aisland wants to free his trapped foot but Chipman is holding on for dear life with his legs.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Aisland is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Chipman is just riding it out for now. Aisland eventually gives up the hold.
Aisland is trying for a kimura here. Chipman looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Aisland wins by kimura!

In his post fight interview, Mancha Aisland started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
