Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tobias Berge (ranked 1036 p4p, 3126 weight class) and Skritskrat Songsiskrat (ranked 149 p4p, 350 weight class). Songsiskrat has chosen Reunion - Life Is A Rock as his entrance music. Skritskrat Songsiskrat will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Tobias Berge!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Skritskrat Songsiskrat!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Sandra Marshall and Bart Greer.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Berge tries to work over Songsiskrat's front leg with a kick but Songsiskrat checks it.
Songsiskrat looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
A slapping leg kick lands for Songsiskrat.
Berge shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Songsiskrat counters with a nice uppercut.
Songsiskrat throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Berge on the side of the head.
Berge definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Songsiskrat digs a good body shot into Berge's ribs.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Songsiskrat counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

so Berge counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Songsiskrat can do anything to dispel that myth.

Berge drops back, looking for a kneebar! Songsiskrat looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Songsiskrat looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Songsiskrat!

Songsiskrat wants to control but Berge is keeping him busy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Songsiskrat is looking to take a break and control but Berge is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Songsiskrat is just content to waste time from the top position. Berge takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Songsiskrat got a little sloppy there for a moment and Berge has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Songsiskrat has managed to get both his arms back between Berge's legs - danger averted.

Songsiskrat avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Berge is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Berge escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Songsiskrat gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Berge wants to sweep but no luck.

Berge is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Songsiskrat frees his head nicely. Oh but Berge has switched to an armbar! Songsiskrat is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!

In his post fight interview, Tobias Berge started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
Skritskrat Songsiskrat spoke after the fight, saying 'i didn't know i sucked fighting until now.'.
