Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Island Boy Jackson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, KO Jacckson!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Peter Branson and Sandra Marshall.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jacckson gets caught flat footed, as Jackson shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Jacckson tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Jackson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jacckson swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jacckson lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Jackson is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.


Jackson looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Jacckson is refusing to be controlled, as Jackson sits in half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jacckson is defending against the submission attempts here by Jackson.

Jacckson is positioning himself well to prevent Jackson advancing to mount.
Jacckson wants to get back to full guard.
Jacckson is staying active underneath Jackson, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jackson prevents Jacckson from improving his position.
Jacckson flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Jackson moves nicely into side control.
Jacckson is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Jacckson is letting Jackson control him for a moment.
Jackson gets to mount! Jacckson was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.

Jackson has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Jacckson! Can he survive? No! He's out! Jackson gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
