Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Trebor Gautier (ranked 4917 p4p, 4942 weight class) and David Hopper (ranked 470 p4p, 473 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Trebor Gautier! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, David Hopper! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Cecil Peabody and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gautier throws a one two combo.
It looks like David Hopper has been cut. Hopper throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Gautier changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Hopper tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Gautier swivels and escapes. Hopper swinging wildly here.
Gautier shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hopper as he jumps to the side. Hopper clinches. Gautier misses with a punch on the inside.
Gautier tries for a takedown but Hopper manages to get underhooks.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gautier slowing the pace effectively. Gautier wants to get back to striking at distance but Hopper won't allow it.
Hopper pulls guard. Hopper looking to control.
Hopper really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gautier. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hopper looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Gautier passes into side control.
Hopper is trying to get back to half guard. You can see the frustration on Hopper's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Hopper is not content to let Gautier control the position. Gautier working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Hopper is trying to control Gautier's posture but Gautier avoids it. Gautier prevents Hopper from escaping the position. Hopper is not content to let Gautier control the position. Gautier decides to stand back up. Gautier steps back and let's Hopper get back to his feet. Hopper shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Gautier defends it nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gautier fails with a takedown attempt from distance. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Trebor Gautier. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hopper tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Gautier defends well and Hopper ends up having to push Gautier into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Gautier tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Hopper manages to circle out of the way. Hopper fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Gautier fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Hopper avoids it really well and circles away. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Hopper is defended easily by Gautier. Gautier misses with a takedown attempt and Hopper counters with a left and a right that stings Gautier. Gautier fails with a takedown attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hopper stuffs the takedown. Hopper misses with a low kick. Nice sprawl there from Hopper as Gautier shoots in. Hopper shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Gautier as he avoids it easily. Gautier avoids a punch combination nicely.

and Gautier counters with a stiff right hand. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Hopper displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Gautier. Gautier throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to David Hopper. I think Hopper has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
