Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 18 - 2, fighting out of Amsterdam, Daniel Brand!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 18 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Sam Salter!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brand moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Salter keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Salter dives in for a single leg takedown but Brand sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Brand misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Salter.
Brand swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Brand slaps away a takedown attempt from Salter, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Salter walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Brand digs a good hook to Salter's body.
Salter darts in looking for a takedown but Brand gets double underhooks and turns Salter into the cage.
Daniel Brand has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sam Salter.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Salter tries to move into range but Brand moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Salter ducks straight into an uppercut from Brand and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Salter manages to regain guard straight away.
Salter is rocked!

Brand stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Salter is still on wobbly legs! Can Brand finish him?
Brand cracks Salter with a left hook right on the temple and Salter goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Brand lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Salter is OK!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Daniel Brand!
In defeat, Sam Salter stepped up to the mic, saying 'I think it may be time to hang up the gloves. Its been fun at times but Im over this time to go kill myself and family chris benoit style.'.
