Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Vvv Vvv (ranked 23928 p4p, 6293 weight class) and Sss Sss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sss Sss has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 13 - 27 - 3, fighting out of Las Vegas, Vvv Vvv! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 27 - 16 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sss Sss! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Cecil Peabody and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Sss closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Vvv is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Sss working away. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Vvv tries to bench press Sss off him but Sss keeps the position. Sss staying calm. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sss misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Vvv is letting Sss control him for a moment. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Sss throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Sss leaves Vvv with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Sss thinks about the counter body kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Vvv scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Both fighters take a look at the clock. Vvv is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Sss's shoulder. That is not cool.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sss wants to control but Vvv postures up. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Sss can do anything to dispel that myth. Sss is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Vvv is staying active. Vvv is working Sss over with some ground and pound from side control. Vvv trying to control the position but Sss is working away.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Vvv with a lazy takedown attempt and Sss counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Sss shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Vvv but Vvv pushes him off and we're back to square one. It appears Vvv was looking to counter with a kick there. Vvv with a poor takedown so Sss counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vvv Vvv. That's going to take a lot out of him. Vvv trying to control the position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Sss being controlled here momentarily. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Sss Sss will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Sss is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Vvv's half guard. Sss looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Vvv is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Sss controlling the action here. Vvv is looking for a sweep. Sss is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Sss working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Vvv misses with some strikes from the bottom.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Sss drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Sss controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Vvv controls Sss momentarily but Sss frees himself. Sss controls from within his opponent's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Vvv is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Sss is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Vvv is trying to control the position but Sss postures up. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Sss Sss has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Sss being controlled here momentarily.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Sss has been the more effective fighter overall so far. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Vvv. Vvv looks for a takedown but Sss sprawls well. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Sss misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Sss Sss showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round! Vvv fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Sss wants to counter the offense by Vvv and move into the clinch position. Sss shoots for a double leg takedown but Vvv sprawls well. He's pushed Sss's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. And Vvv counters with a quick kick to the body but Sss blocks it. Sss shoots in and bounces Vvv off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Sss throws a strike but Vvv rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

That's one minute gone in the round. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Vvv slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Sss tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Vvv seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Sss is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Sss's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Vvv shoots in for a takedown but Sss shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Sss follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Vvv looks for the body kick but Sss saw that one coming. Sss tries a quick counter leg kick but Vvv is wise to it. Sss misses with a takedown attempt - Vvv sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Vvv throws a counter high kick but Sss was just alert enough to avoid it. Vvv fails with the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vvv Vvv. That's going to take a lot out of him.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Vvv Vvv. Well Sss has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality.
