The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Percy O'Donnell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGhee throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Gonzalez was covering up waiting for the punch and McGhee finishes the takedown easily into guard.

McGhee is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Gonzalez lands with a kick to the ribs.
McGhee shoots in and gets a takedown into Gonzalez's guard.

Gonzalez is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
