Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Lester Green (ranked 1885 p4p, 2272 weight class) and Wingers Son (ranked 108 p4p, 131 weight class). Green comes to the cage accompanied by This Is Beetle. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Lester Green!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Wingers Son!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Donald Grub and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Green throws a right and a left that both miss.
Son shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Green connects with a crisp jab.
A big right from Green misses.
Son tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Green manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Green throwing a counter right hand but Son manages to avoid it.
Green misses with a looping right.
Son changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Nice sprawl there from Green as Son shoots in.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Green escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Green lands a right hook to the body.
Son shoots in for a takedown but Green shows good takedown defense.
Son gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Green breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Son closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Green to the mat! Green manages to get full guard.
Green wants to sweep here but Son controlling him for the moment.
Son trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Son stops Green from standing up.

Son trying to control the position from guard on top but Green is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Son closes the distance and clinches.

Son swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Green lands with a short shot to the head.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Son.
Green breaks the clinch.
Son tries to clinch but Green moves out of range.
Son misses with a takedown
and Green counters with a left to the body.
Lester Green has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wingers Son.
Son closes the distance and pushes Green back into the cage.
Green stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
A head punch on the inside from Son fails to land.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Green lands with a short head shot on the inside.

I was talking to Green's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Son has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Green uses from the top position.
Green preventing the sweep.
Green wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Son's closed guard. He's half up but Son has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Son pivots and extends the arm, Green falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Son! Well done that man!
