Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Masayuki Araki (ranked 2679 p4p, 4320 weight class) and Pacho Hererra (ranked 285 p4p, 389 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Pacho Hererra!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Chris Edwards and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hererra has taken the fight to the clinch.
Hererra has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Araki is trying to keep an underhook but Hererra manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Hererra looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Araki gets back to full guard.

Araki looking for a guillotine here but Hererra defends easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Araki working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hererra doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hererra manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Hererra is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Araki is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Araki has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

Hererra is trying to work for a kimura but Araki is defending well.
Araki is trying to get back to full guard.
Hererra is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Araki is just riding it out for now. Hererra eventually gives up the hold.
Hererra has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Araki defend it? Hererra steps over the head and cranks it - Araki is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Hererra!
