Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ralphie White (ranked 1198 p4p, 1619 weight class) and Chief Claw (ranked 187 p4p, 241 weight class). Chief Claw has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ralphie White!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chief Claw!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Paul Aken and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Claw scores with the left hand. White knows he should have avoided that one.

Claw drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Claw trying to control the position but White is working away.

Claw thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Claw is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but White is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
White wants to get back to his feet but Claw drags him back down.

Claw is trying to get an arm triangle but White is defending well.
White tries to escape but Claw is in control.

Claw looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Claw swings around for an armbar but White sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Claw's guard.

Claw is looking for a triangle but White pushes his legs off easily.

Claw looking for submissions from the bottom but instead White passes into side control.

White stands up and we're back to a striking position.
We've been hearing reports that White has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Claw throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
White moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

White takes the fight into the clinch.

White's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Claw tries to move into range but White moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

White seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Claw drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and White dives on top into guard.

Claw working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. White doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. White manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Claw has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. White is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Claw.

White gets to mount! Claw was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
Claw is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Claw wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
White has the hooks in. Claw is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
Claw trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble.
Claw manages to reverse the position and now he's in White's guard. Nice work there by Claw.

Claw drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but White manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Claw has White in his guard.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Claw takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Claw shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. White is trying to defend but Claw finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Claw drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and White dives on top into guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
White is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

White got a little sloppy there for a moment and Claw has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, White has managed to get both his arms back between Claw's legs - danger averted.

Claw is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

White gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Claw throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Ralphie White is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

White swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.

White has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Claw finds it's way round the side to connect with White's head.

White uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Claw.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

White gets in close and instigates a clinch.
White gets underhooks to prevent Claw's takedown attempt.

Claw has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by White after a bit of a struggle.
Claw has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. White is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Ralphie White has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chief Claw.
Claw is breathing heavily.
White throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Claws head.

Claw throws a combination but it was largely blocked by White.

Chief Claw is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
White shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Claw eats them both and turns towards White to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

White lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Claw has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye.
