Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sergey Bakarow!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Desu Inhanamoto!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Atkins and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bakarow throws a head kick that misses
and Inhanamoto counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Bakarow looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Inhanamoto!
Bakarow sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Inhanamoto is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Bakarow tries to advance to mount but can't.
Inhanamoto is looking for a sweep.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Inhanamoto is not content to let Bakarow control the position.
Bakarow decides to stand back up. Bakarow steps back and let's Inhanamoto get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Inhanamoto lands a big head kick that sends Bakarow tumbling to the mat! Inhanamoto takes a step backwards and waves Bakarow back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Bakarow is rocked!
Bakarow misses with a takedown attempt
and Inhanamoto scores with a counter punch that sends Bakarow to the canvas! Inhanamoto smells blood - he's punishing Bakarow with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Bakarow has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Desu Inhanamoto!
Our winner, Desu Inhanamoto, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
