Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between George Walker (ranked 1244 p4p, 1446 weight class) and Hirata Hitoshi (ranked 172 p4p, 192 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that George Walker has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily George Walker seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, George Walker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hirata Hitoshi!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Chris Downing and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hitoshi shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
The fighters circle momentarily. Walker darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Hitoshi moves out of range of the strikes.
Hitoshi takes the fight into the clinch.
Walker is trying to stall.
Hitoshi is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Walker can't fight it off and eventually Hitoshi manages to take the fight to the floor. Walker looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Walker is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Hitoshi is aware though and is defending well.

Hitoshi makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Hitoshi is posturing up here but Walker has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Hitoshi tries to roll out but it's too tight and Hitoshi has to tap! Slick submission there by Walker!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). George Walker!
George Walker bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
