Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mitch McGee (ranked 5587 p4p, 24181 weight class) and Vlad Hansen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McGee's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Survivor - Eye of the Tiger. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mitch McGee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Vlad Hansen!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Anthony Taglia and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGee fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Hansen to the ground. McGee is now in Hansen's guard.
McGee chips away with some ground and pound.
McGee has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
McGee is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
McGee forces his way into half guard.

McGee really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Hansen pushes McGee off looking to stand but McGee dives back in and keeps control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

McGee has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

McGee seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Hansen for as long as he can get away with.

McGee perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Hansen on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
McGee decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
McGee fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Hansen avoids it really well and circles away.
McGee is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Hansen's half guard.
McGee landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Hansen is trying to defend against the ground and pound but McGee scores with a couple of nice shots.
McGee stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Hansen to get to his feet.
McGee shoots in looking for a takedown. Hansen tries to sprawl out of it but McGee keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hansen manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
McGee drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Hansen bucks up and tries to throw McGee off but instead McGee has got his back!
McGee lands a shot to the body.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
McGee looking for the rear naked choke. And he's got it! Hansen taps!
