Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kong Ko (ranked 6221 p4p, 3755 weight class) and Hideki Nakamura (ranked 0 p4p, 453 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hideki Nakamura!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, David Schapiro and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nakamura stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Ko throws a looping overhand right but Nakamura ducks down to avoid it.
Nakamura throws a series of punches but Ko moves out of range.
A decent looking cross lands there for Nakamura.
Ko closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Ko waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Nakamura.
Nakamura slips a straight right by Ko .
Ko swings for the body but Nakamura moves out of range.
Ko throws a head kick that misses.
Nakamura keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Hideki Nakamura seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nakamura pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Nice jab there from Nakamura.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Nakamura blocks a jab.
Nakamura scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Ko on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Nakamura throws an overhand right that drops Ko like a sack of potatoes! Nakamura dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
