Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Richard Gillete!
The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Fedor Mirinova and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cotto tries for a takedown but Gillete sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Gillete shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Cotto is trying to defend but Gillete finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Gillete is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Cotto is just riding it out for now. Gillete eventually gives up the hold.
Gillete controlling the action here.
Gillete wants to control but Cotto is keeping him busy.
Cotto won't allow Gillete to pass to mount.
Gillete is trying to control the action in half guard but Cotto is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Gillete tries to pass to full mount but Cotto defends it.
Gillete is keen to just control but Cotto is a slippery customer.
Cotto wants to get back to his feet.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Cotto with a lazy takedown attempt
and Gillete counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Cotto's guard now.
Gillete is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Gillete stands and throws Cotto's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Sloppy strikes there by Gillete.
Cotto is pushing Gillete's head away, looking to escape. Gillete manages to hold on to the position though.
Gillete is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Cotto is trying to escape and Gillete transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Cotto is forced to tap! Nice work there by Gillete! Very nice indeed!
