Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Biggy Harris!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jamarco Ellick!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Steve Smith and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ellick walks into a straight right hand from Harris.
Jab, jab by Harris - just one landing.
Harris works Ellick's body with a nice hook.
Harris scores with a crisp jab that stopped Ellick in his tracks.
Ellick doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Harris counters with a low kick, right behind Ellick 's knee.
Biggy Harris seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Harris lands a right hook to the body.
Harris clobbers Ellick with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
We've been told by Harris's head coaches at The Facility that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Ellick loses concentration momentarily and Harris pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Ellick crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Harris finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Biggy Harris!
A relieved looking Biggy Harris thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
