With a record of 13 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Gwynn Evans!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Andrew Berry and James Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Evans lands a jab to the head.
Brooks lunges at Evans with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Evans's hand.
A big left from Brooks misses.
Brooks throws a leg kick but Evans sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Brooks throws a body shot but no joy.
Evans looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Brooks with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Evans to score with a decent uppercut.
Brooks scores with a three punch combo!
Evans has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Evans tries to clinch but Brooks moves out of range.
Crunch! Brooks slams his shin into Evans's torso.
Brooks throws a leg kick which misses Evans's front leg but catches the back leg as Evans tries to avoid it.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Evans checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Nice straight punches there by Evans. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Evans.

Evans avoids the head kick by Brooks.

Evans misses with a wild body shot.
Brooks scores with a jab.

Brooks lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Evans tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Brooks throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Evans counters with a straight right hand.
Brooks works the jab nicely.
Brooks takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Evans throws a hook but Brooks avoids it easily.
Evans throws a shot from downtown. Brooks moves away and avoids it.
Brooks's corner calls for a 1-2. Brooks obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
A jab from Evans misses.
Brooks is looking to slow Evans down with leg kicks.
A looping hook to the body misses from Evans. Brooks does a little dance to reset his feet.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Evans swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A chopping leg kick lands by Brooks.

and Brooks counters with a nice low kick that buckles Evans's knee momentarily.
Evans moves out of range of the body kick.
Brooks thows a left - swing and a miss!
Evans is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Brooks with a body shot.

and Evans counters with a nice right hand that sends Brooks toppling to the canvas! Brooks scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Evans finish him?!

Brooks is rocked!
Evans is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Brooks flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Brooks is out cold! Evans holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
