Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between James McGuire (ranked 2809 p4p, 2642 weight class) and James Crazyhorse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think McGuire might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Metallica - Enter Sandman . Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 28 - 21 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, James McGuire! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, James Crazyhorse! The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Konstantin Menshow and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Crazyhorse throws an overhand right that lands on McGuire's shoulder, as McGuire tries to avoid the shot. Crazyhorse uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before McGuire has time to react. Crazyhorse scores with a hook to the body. McGuire takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Crazyhorse bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of McGuire's head. McGuire looks to score with a jab to the body but Crazyhorse is just out of range. Crazyhorse throws a looping overhand right but McGuire ducks down to avoid it. Crazyhorse swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Crazyhorse cracks McGuire with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Crazyhorse takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Crazyhorse's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Crazyhorse duly obliges.
It looks like James McGuire has been cut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Crazyhorse lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Crazyhorse misses with a few strikes there.

McGuire throws a lazy right hand but Crazyhorse sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Crazyhorse scores with a jab. McGuire acknowledges it with a nod of the head. McGuire throws a hook but Crazyhorse blocks it. Crazyhorse digs a good body shot into McGuire's ribs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Crazyhorse lunges at McGuire with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by McGuire's hand. McGuire takes a shot to the body in his stride.
McGuire gets cracked there but stands up to it.
McGuire closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Crazyhorse tries to work over McGuire's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. McGuire is pushing Crazyhorse up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. McGuire tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Crazyhorse avoids it. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Both guys are working to get underhooks. McGuire stalling in the clinch but Crazyhorse improves position. Crazyhorse throws a head punch that misses. McGuire tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Crazyhorse just stands there and leans against the cage. A right hook to the body lands for Crazyhorse.

Crazyhorse misses with a short punch on the inside. Crazyhorse pushes McGuire back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. McGuire is breathing heavily. McGuire's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Crazyhorse lands an uppercut. Crazyhorse tried to land a shot to the body but connects with McGuire's elbow. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Crazyhorse creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McGuire blocks a body shot from Crazyhorse. Crazyhorse has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. McGuire seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Crazyhorse can turn it around. Crazyhorse digs a right hand underneath McGuire's ribcage. McGuire let out a lung full of air as it connected. Crazyhorse lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Crazyhorse lands with a short shot to the head. Crazyhorse lands a right hand. Crazyhorse lands a body punch. The referee calls for Crazyhorse to work.

McGuire is rocked! Crazyhorse creates a bit of space for himself and rocks McGuire with a big uppercut! McGuire tries to clinch up but Crazyhorse pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples McGuire to the mat! McGuire covers up and Crazyhorse unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). James Crazyhorse! A relieved looking James Crazyhorse thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
