Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Joaquim Caetano (ranked 1854 p4p, 915 weight class) and Aljamain Sterling (ranked 0 p4p, 44 weight class). Sterling has chosen I Love as his entrance music. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Aljamain Sterling!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Dirk Anderson and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sterling closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Caetano's guard.

Caetano seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Caetano is controlling Sterling's trapped leg to prevent Sterling from advancing to side control.

Caetano has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Sterling. Oh but Caetano has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Sterling goes limp - he's gone! Caetano jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!

Aljamain Sterling spoke after the fight, saying 'Whether it's Bellator, OneFC, World Series, whatever, the door's open for me. Financial stability is the most important thing for me'.
