Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Enrico Fermi!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Samuel Adam!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Roger Salmon and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adam stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Adam misses with a straight left.
Adam looks to score with a jab to the body but Fermi is just out of range.

It looks like Samuel Adam has been cut.
Fermi ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Fermi staying out of range there.
Adam swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Fermi wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Fermi throws a body punch but Adam moves out of range.
Adam misses with a lunging right hand
letting Fermi counter with a right hand.
Fermi cracks Adam with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Adam looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Fermi finish him?
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Fermi throws a jab when Adam was well out of range.

As Adam looks to move away, Fermi throws a big counter combo but Adam just gets out of the way.
Fermi just misses with a punch to the body.
It seemed like Adam was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

and Adam counters with a stiff right hand.
We've been told by Fermi's head coaches at Monkey Magic that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Adam thows a left - swing and a miss!
Fermi is looking for a counter combo.
Adam takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Adam looks winded!
Adam uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Fermi.
A decent looking cross lands there for Fermi.
Adam drops his hands momentarily. Fermi doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Adam staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Adam doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Enrico Fermi!
