Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jonny Bar (ranked 1123 p4p, 940 weight class) and Ty Fuller (ranked 153 p4p, 134 weight class). The key to victory for Jonny Bar has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jonny Bar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ty Fuller!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Daniel Franklin and Peter Branson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bar fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Fuller avoids it really well and circles away.
We've been hearing reports that Bar has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Fuller swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Fuller misses with a body kick.
Bar fails to land the takedown.
Fuller misses with a series of wild punches.
Fuller is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Bar.
Fuller displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Bar.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jonny Bar. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Bar shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Fuller napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Fuller is trying to improve his position.

Bar is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Fuller has escaped the position, nice work there.
Bar throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Fuller manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

Bar wants to work for an arm triangle but Fuller is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Bar is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Fuller defends it well.
Bar throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Bar missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fuller is trying to control but can't.
Bar seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Fuller is looking to control Bar's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Fuller avoid being mounted?
Fuller has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Cozad The Island. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
Fuller really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bar. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Bar prevents Fuller from improving his position.
Bar thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Fuller's head.
Fuller avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Bar.

Bar is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Fuller has managed to free his arm - good work.
Fuller slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Bar trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Bar throws a big elbow that misses.
Bar postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Fuller seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Fuller can do anything to dispel that myth.
Bar is looking to work some ground and pound but Fuller has wrist control.

Bar drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Fuller dives on top into guard.

Fuller makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Fuller trying to control the position from guard on top but Bar is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fuller with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

Fuller lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Bar can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Fuller controls the pace.

Bar has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Fuller can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Bar working for a triangle but Fuller defends it easily.

Bar is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Fuller frees his head nicely. Oh but Bar has switched to an armbar! Fuller is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
