Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roberto Rossi (ranked 2712 p4p, 24311 weight class) and Timo Lepisto (ranked 348 p4p, 642 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Roberto Rossi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Timo Lepisto!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Marco Blurström and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rossi lands with a nice body punch.
Rossi clobbers Lepisto with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Rossi lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Lepisto throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Rossi stuns Lepisto with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Lepisto throws a head kick that misses.
Rossi catches Lepisto with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Rossi closes the distance and lands a one-two.

Lepisto missing with a left hand there. Rossi was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Rossi fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Lepisto on the side of the head.
Rossi bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Lepisto's head.
Rossi sizes up Lepisto with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

It looks like Rossi has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.

Lepisto fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Rossi has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Rossi cracks Lepisto with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Lepisto throws a sloppy head kick and Rossi moves out of range easily.

Lepisto looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Rossi takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Lepisto shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Lepisto takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Rossi is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Rossi feints and then cracks Lepisto's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Lepisto down.

Rossi uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Rossi ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Rossi fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Lepisto.
Lepisto's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Lepisto takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Rossi throws a nice inside leg kick.
Rossi lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Rossi tests Lepisto's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Rossi connects with a body shot.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Rossi cracks Lepisto with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Lepisto stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Rossi.

Rossi is looking to slow Lepisto down with leg kicks.
Lepisto takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Nice straight punches there by Rossi. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Rossi.
Lepisto tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Roberto Rossi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Lepisto throws a sloppy head kick
and Rossi counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Lepisto has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye.

Lepisto on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Rossi delivers a nice body kick.
Lepisto on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Rossi works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Lepisto throws a head kick but Rossi moves out of range.
Rossi fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
That kick from Rossi tenderised Lepisto's leg. Lepisto is trying to keep his angry face on.
Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with each other but Lepisto might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Rossi has got the better of the exchanges.

Rossi sends Lepisto crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Rossi is motioning to the referee to let Lepisto up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Rossi fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Lepisto.
Lepisto is breathing heavily.
Rossi cracks Lepisto with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Lepisto tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Rossi pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Lepisto is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Roberto Rossi!
