Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Eric Jacquin (ranked 1163 p4p, 230 weight class) and Lesley Dancer (ranked 169 p4p, 33 weight class). Lesley Dancer will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dancer slaps away a takedown attempt from Jacquin, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Jacquin shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Dancer as he avoids it easily.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Eric Jacquin. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Jacquin shoots in looking for a takedown but Dancer manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Jacquin's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Jacquin takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Dancer works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Dancer leaves Jacquin with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jacquin has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Dancer finds it's way round the side to connect with Jacquin's head.

and Dancer counters with a huge left! Jacquin is in big trouble! He's backing up but Dancer isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Jacquin from any more damage. A dominating finish by Dancer!
