Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bradley Lemons (ranked 875 p4p, 959 weight class) and Adam Alkoun (ranked 127 p4p, 140 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 13 - 5 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Bradley Lemons! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Adam Alkoun! The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Sandra Marshall and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lemons pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Alkoun looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Alkoun tries to close the distance and clinch but Lemons swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Alkoun looks to clinch and Lemons counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
It looks like Adam Alkoun has been cut. Alkoun closes the distance and clinches. Alkoun can't find room to land a body shot as Lemons controls the action.
Lemons wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Alkoun has him pressed against the cage. Lemons blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Lemons blocks an uppercut.
Lemons lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Lemons has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Lemons wants to break free but Alkoun has control.
Lemons is trying to break the clinch but Alkoun has him pressed against the cage. Alkoun has a couple of punches blocked by Lemons.
Alkoun fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Lemons scores with a shoulder strike. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lemons is trying to break the clinch but Alkoun is controlling him. Lemons can't break the clinch.
Alkoun pushes Lemons back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Alkoun. Lemons goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Lemons scores with a nice hook to the head. Lemons's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. This has been an exciting period of action! Alkoun closes the distance and pushes Lemons back into the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lemons is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Alkoun can't find room to land a body shot as Lemons controls the action.
Nice body punch from Lemons. Lemons wants to get back to striking at distance but Alkoun won't allow it.
Lemons takes a shot to the head. A shot in the inside from Lemons. Lemons breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Alkoun closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Lemons breaks from the clinch.
Alkoun clinches up with Lemons and pushes him back against the cage. Alkoun tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Lemons lands a nice uppercut. Lemons is trying to push Alkoun away but Alkoun has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Alkoun prevents Lemons from breaking the clinch. Lemons blocking some punches.

Lemons works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
A frustrated look appears on Lemons's face as he tries to break the clinch. Lemons breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Alkoun moves to clinch but Lemons breaks away letting Lemons counter with a right hand. This has been an exciting period of action! Alkoun tries to clinch and Lemons counters with a lovely straight right hand! Alkoun tries to clinch but Lemons moves away and Lemons counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Adam Alkoun seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Alkoun wants to clinch and Lemons counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Alkoun wants to clinch and Lemons counters with a crisp right hand that drops Alkoun! Lemons lets Alkoun back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

That has opened up Adam Alkoun's cut even more. Alkoun moves to clinch but Lemons breaks away and Lemons counters with a huge right that knocks Alkoun out cold! Lemons is running around with a crazed look on his face - you can see how much that meant to him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Bradley Lemons! After winning the bout, Bradley Lemons thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
