The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blancho shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Penrose counters with a straight right hand.
It looks like Igor Blancho has been cut.
Penrose looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
A head kick from Penrose lands but Blancho takes it in his stride.
Penrose looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Blancho closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Blancho is rocked!
Igor Blancho seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Blancho shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Penrose counters with a massive hook, right on the button! He's out cold! Damn, that was naaaaaasty! Hopefully he'll be OK.
