Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Hill Billy Hank!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sam Barnes!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Gregory Folan and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hank tries to clinch up.
Barnes swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Hank is looking to counter the offense by Barnes and move into the clinch.
Hank moves in looking to clinch but Barnes pushes him off.
Hank tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Barnes manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Hank shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Barnes napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Barnes tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Hank cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

In his post fight interview, Sam Barnes started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
