Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 20 - 0, fighting out of London, William Reeves!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 16 - 2, fighting out of Montreal, Kevin Brockington!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Donald Grub and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
An inside leg kick lands from Reeves.
Reeves pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Brockington with the counter takedown but Reeves avoids it easily.
Reeves scores with a jab to the jaw.
Brockington closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Brockington works to advance to full mount. Reeves defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Brockington working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Reeves has left one of his arms exposed and Brockington doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Reeves screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
