The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kontiainen connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

It looks like Nate DeBramalo has been cut.

DeBramalo fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Kontiainen has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

A nice leg kick from DeBramalo, right into the meat of the thigh.

Kontiainen feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends DeBramalo sprawling to the canvas! DeBramalo rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Kontiainen finish him?!
Oh DeBramalo is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
DeBramalo throws a good cross that connects.

Nate DeBramalo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kontiainen on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

and Kontiainen counters with a monster head kick that knocks DeBramalo out cold! He topples like fallen a tree, crashing to the mat! Timbeeeeeerrr!
