Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kil Bon Hwa (ranked 207 p4p, 223 weight class) and Stevo Caruga (ranked 35 p4p, 36 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Caruga dives in for a single leg takedown but Bon Hwa sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

It looks like Stevo Caruga has been cut.
Kil Bon Hwa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Stevo Caruga.
Caruga slips a straight right by Bon Hwa.
Bon Hwa stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Bon Hwa looks to land a left hand but Caruga moved out of range nicely.

Caruga decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Caruga is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Caruga is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Bon Hwa doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Caruga.

Caruga is looking for a kimura but Bon Hwa is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Caruga to get the leverage.

Bon Hwa's coaches at have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.

Caruga wants to pass the guard but Bon Hwa is keeping the position.

Caruga drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Bon Hwa manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Caruga has Bon Hwa in his guard.

Bon Hwa knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Caruga on the ground.

Oh but Caruga is tightening it up a little... Bon Hwa has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight!
