Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mac Anudo (ranked 970 p4p, 1617 weight class) and Jackson Silva (ranked 144 p4p, 227 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 1, fighting out of New York, Mac Anudo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jackson Silva!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Cecil Peabody and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Silva stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Anudo swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Anudo has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Silva has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Soul Supremacy Rio. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Anudo cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

BOOM! Anudo connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Silva is squirming around, avoiding Anudo's attempts to control the action.

Anudo lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Anudo fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Silva is out of range.
Silva shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Anudo as he jumps to the side.
Silva changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Anudo tries to avoid it but Silva manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Anudo to the ground. Anudo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Anudo lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Silva looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Mac Anudo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jackson Silva.

A bone on bone clash there as Silva blocks the leg kick.
Anudo cracks Silva with an uppercut from hell and Silva crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Anudo's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Mac Anudo.
Well Anudo has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
