Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 44 - 131 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Makebono Bowen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Bobby Knuckles !
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Wesley Smith and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knuckles drops Bowen with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Bowen looks back up at him and smiles so Knuckles waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Bowen is rocked!
It looks like Makebono Bowen has been cut.
Bowen looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Knuckles plants his feet and throws a 3 punch combo. Miss, miss, boom! The third punch, a big right hook, connects right on the temple and drops Bowen to the mat, unconscious! This fight is all over! Bowen just couldn't keep out of the way of the whole flurry of punches!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Bobby Knuckles !
