Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Albert Einstein (ranked 284 p4p, 189 weight class) and Lesley Dancer (ranked 39 p4p, 27 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Albert Einstein!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lesley Dancer!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, David Schapiro and Franklyn Lucas.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice shot lands for Dancer.
Einstein swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A shot to the liver by Dancer. Beautiful body shot.
Einstein bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Dancer swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Good exchange - Dancer coming out on top.
Dancer throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Dancer looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Einstein drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Einstein wants to pass the guard but Dancer is keeping the position.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Dancer can do anything to dispel that myth.
Dancer is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Einstein tries to free his leg and advance position but Dancer is retaining full guard.
Einstein stays in close to Dancer's body and controls the position.
Einstein wants to pass the guard but Dancer is keeping the position.
Einstein stands up over Dancer, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Dancer utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Einstein accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Einstein passes Dancer's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
We've been hearing good reports from Einstein's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Einstein wants to take a breather but Dancer is having none of it.

Einstein is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Dancer has managed to free his arm - good work.
Einstein has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Einstein content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

Einstein is looking to take a break and control but Dancer is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Einstein is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Dancer to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Dancer shrugs it off.

Einstein can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Dancer is looking to escape.
Einstein breaks from Dancer's wrist control and lands an elbow.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
The referee warns Dancer that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Einstein fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Dancer manages to avoid it.
Dancer uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Einstein has time to react.
Einstein is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Dancer can do to turn this around?
Dancer takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Einstein throws a body shot but no joy.
Dancer throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Einstein stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Einstein shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Dancer as he jumps to the side.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dancer moves into range and connects with a jab.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Einstein.
Dancer throws out a counter right but Einstein avoids it with no problem.

Dancer uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Einstein.
Dancer appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Einstein throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Dancer's waist but Dancer gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Einstein off to one side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Albert Einstein. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Dancer uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Einstein.
Dancer let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Einstein lands a slapping body shot.
Dancer throws a jab but it's blocked by Einstein.
Dancer paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Einstein misses with an uppercut
and Dancer counters with a straight right hand.
Nice uppercut lands for Dancer. That snapped Einstein's head back.
Einstein uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Dancer.
Dancer thows a left - swing and a miss!
Einstein scores with a hook to the body. Dancer takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Einstein fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Dancer sprawls well initially but Einstein persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Einstein is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Einstein has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Einstein looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.

Dancer is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Einstein has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Dancer's face.
Einstein content just to control the position here.
Einstein lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Dancer is rocked!
Einstein landing punches.
Dancer is still in real trouble! Can Einstein finish him?
Einstein tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Einstein breaks from Dancer's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Oooooh, big shot lands for Einstein! Dancer is hurt baaadly! Einstein is firing away with more strikes - Dancer is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:25 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Albert Einstein!
