Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Inaki Gurgel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Blanco Feretti!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Donald Grub and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gurgel circles away from the clinch attempt.
Feretti closes the distance and clinches.
Feretti jumps guard.
Gurgel has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Feretti looking to hit a scissor sweep but Gurgel is one step ahead there.
Feretti has his foot on Gurgel's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Gurgel works his way back into a safe position though.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Gurgel accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Feretti working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Gurgel doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Gurgel manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Gurgel with a flurry of punches that miss.
Feretti has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Gurgel is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Feretti.

Inaki Gurgel has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Blanco Feretti.

Gurgel throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Feretti's waist but Feretti gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Gurgel off to one side.

Gurgel has Feretti pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Gurgel pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Feretti tumbling to the mat - Gurgel dives into Feretti's guard.
