With a record of 12 - 15 - 0, fighting out of New York, Longsun Zhao!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Percy O'Donnell and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nimoy scores with a nice head shot.
Zhao throws a head kick that half lands.

It looks like Leonard Nimoy has been cut.
Zhao waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Nimoy.
Zhao paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
A head kick misses from Zhao.
Nimoy connects with a jab.
Zhao tries a head kick but it misses.
A counter left hand to the body from Nimoy misses its target.
A jab from Zhao finds it's way through Nimoy's defenses.
Longsun Zhao seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nimoy looks to land a right hand but Zhao moved out of range.
Zhao slips a jab from Nimoy.
Zhao tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
This has been an exciting period of action!

and Nimoy counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Zhao thinking.
Zhao misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Nimoy.
Nimoy was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Nimoy scores with the left hand. Zhao knows he should have avoided that one.
Zhao throws a nice head kick!
Nice body punch from Nimoy.
Zhao throws the left hand but Nimoy avoids the punch easily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Nimoy throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Zhao stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Nimoy misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Zhao scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
A head kick misses from Zhao.
Nimoy displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Zhao throws out the jab.
Zhao throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Zhao throws a sloppy head kick and Nimoy moves out of range easily.
Nimoy lands a nice shot that snaps Zhao's head back.

It looks like Longsun Zhao has been cut.
Nimoy connects with a body shot that sends Zhao's belly button to the back.
A punch lands to the side of Zhao 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Zhao is rocked!
Nimoy is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Zhao flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Zhao is out cold! Nimoy holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
