Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Solomon Pruitt (ranked 2044 p4p, 864 weight class) and Parta Matti (ranked 252 p4p, 121 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pruitt throws out a loose jab but Matti uses good head movement to avoid it.
Matti gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Pruitt.
Pruitt scores with a jab to the body.
Matti throws a body shot but no joy.
Matti checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Matti steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.

Matti throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Pruitt stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Pruitt scores with a one two! Matti had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Pruitt lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Pruitt throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Matti unleashes a big counter combination but Pruitt bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

Pruitt is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Matti.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Matti creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Matti pushes Pruitt against the cage. Matti is working some dirty boxing. Matti pushes off with a quick right hook! Pruitt goes down! Pruitt tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Matti moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
