Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Tobey Heelan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Kip Thorne!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Alan Glass and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Heelan swings away with a body shot that misses
and Thorne counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Heelan scores with a hook to the body. Thorne takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Heelan throws a lazy right hand but Thorne sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Heelan tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Thorne was well out of range. Poor timing from Heelan.

Heelan throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Heelan connects with a good right hand that stumbles Thorne. Thorne circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Thorne lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Heelan looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Oh Heelan is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
and Thorne counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Heelan! He's just covering up as Thorne starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
