Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Abdul Keji!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chew Kok!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kok bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
A jab lands there for Keji.
Chew Kok seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Keji stuns Kok with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Keji avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Kok smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Kok showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Keji.
Kok swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Keji misses the jab.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kok has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Keji sends Kok crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Keji is motioning to the referee to let Kok up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kok scores with a sloppy right hand. Keji should have avoided that one.

Kok wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Kok throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Kok walks into a left hand.
Kok throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
An attempted straight right counter from Keji misses the target.
Kok with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Keji to score with a decent uppercut.
Kok throws the left hand but Keji avoids the punch easily.

and Keji counters with a nice body shot.
Some wild striking there from Kok.
A little feinted left hand from Keji on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Kok throws a hook to the side of Keji's head but Keji sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Kok throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
It looked like Keji wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Keji connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A telegraphed right hand from Kok misses the target.
Keji misses with a hook.
A swing and a miss from Keji.
Keji takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

and Keji counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

It looks like Chew Kok has been cut.
Kok takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Keji is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Keji throws a big shot that misses.
Kok looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Kok throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Keji connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Keji throws a hook to the side of Kok's head but Kok sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Keji is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Keji scores with a hook to the body. Kok takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Kok looks winded!
Kok misses with a right hand

and Keji counters with a nice right hand that sends Kok toppling to the canvas! Kok scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Keji finish him?!

Kok is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Keji lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Kok up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Keji from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Kok's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Abdul Keji!
