PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Lestat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roykey Mac (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mac stuffs the takedown attempt from Lestat. Lestat gets slowly back to his feet.
Lestat throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Mac finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Mac bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Lestat is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Lestat wants to control but Mac postures up.

Mac tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Mac has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Mac takes a little break here. Lestat wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Lestat tries to bench press Mac off him but Mac keeps the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mac lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Lestat down.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Mac trying to control the action but Lestat is working from the bottom.

Mac is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Lestat is trying to escape and Mac transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Lestat is forced to tap! Nice work there by Mac! Very nice indeed!
