Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Howie Dewitt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Charles Taylor!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Albert Achterberg and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling each other endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive.

Dewitt drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Dewitt is looking to take a break and control but Taylor is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Taylor has one of Dewitt's arms on lockdown, trying to prevent him from doing any damage.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Taylor tries to bench press Dewitt off him but Dewitt keeps the position.
Dewitt working away.
Taylor tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Dewitt wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Taylor keeps trying to improve his position.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Dewitt closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Dewitt lands in his opponent's guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Taylor wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

And that's the end of the fight!
Howie Dewitt showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Dewitt has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
