PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ajin Heceda (ranked 1003 p4p, 1902 weight class) and Steel Adams (ranked 142 p4p, 242 weight class). Heceda kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Believer. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Heceda dives in and scores a takedown into Adams's guard.

Heceda drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Heceda jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Heceda is stalling here. Adams is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Heceda seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Adams has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Adams trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Heceda pulls Adams in close to prevent any damage.

Heceda bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Adams's guard.

Heceda has hold of Adams's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Adams tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Heceda cranks the arm and Adams screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Adams, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
