Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Albert Rockefeller (ranked 2753 p4p, 3620 weight class) and Jack Chapman (ranked 343 p4p, 445 weight class). Rockefeller comes to the cage accompanied by Roll with it- Oasis. Albert Rockefeller has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Albert Rockefeller! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jack Chapman! The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Tarja Halkonen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chapman takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. No luck with that takedown attempt from Chapman. Nice takedown defense from Rockefeller. No joy for Chapman on that attempt. Rockefeller is looking to counter with a shot to the body. Rockefeller connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
It looks like Jack Chapman has been cut. Chapman displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Rockefeller throws out the jab. Chapman tries to move into range but Rockefeller moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Chapman goes for a double leg but Rockefeller avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Rockefeller continues to drive forward. Albert Rockefeller has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Chapman. Chapman tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Rockefeller defends well and Chapman ends up having to push Rockefeller into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Chapman moves away from the strike by Rockefeller. Rockefeller misses with a straight left. Rockefeller displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Chapman. Rockefeller was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Chapman dives in for a single leg takedown but Rockefeller sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Rockefeller is looking to counter with a shot to the body. Chapman shoots in but Rockefeller avoids the takedown attempt easily. Rockefeller is looking to counter punch. Rockefeller misses with a looping left. Chapman throws out a counter right but Rockefeller avoids it with no problem. Chapman fails with a takedown attempt. Rockefeller stuffs the takedown attempt from Chapman. Chapman gets slowly back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rockefeller lands a big shot that drops Chapman! Can he finish him?
Chapman is rocked! Rockefeller trying to stand up but can't free himself from Chapman's guard. Chapman is still in real trouble! Can Rockefeller finish him? We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Chapman seems to have recovered his senses. Chapman is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Chapman is still trying to improve position. Rockefeller has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Chapman is proving hard to escape from.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Rockefeller scores with a jab to the head.
Chapman shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Rockefeller defends it nicely. Rockefeller swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Rockefeller lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Chapman has his takedown stuffed and Rockefeller counters with a huge left! Chapman is in big trouble! He's backing up but Rockefeller isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Chapman from any more damage. A dominating finish by Rockefeller!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Albert Rockefeller! Albert Rockefeller was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
