Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Yawa Kiang (ranked 25147 p4p, 5998 weight class) and Way Nada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Way Nada acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Yawa Kiang! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Way Nada! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Daniel Franklin and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Kiang is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Nada's half guard. Nada is looking to get back to is feet but Kiang passes into side control.
Kiang wants to control but Nada is keeping him busy. Nada isn't going anywhere. Nada can't do much from the bottom here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nada keeps Kiang under control for a moment. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kiang taking a breather here. Nada is looking for a sweep. You can see the frustration on Nada's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Nada isn't going anywhere. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Nada is looking for a sweep. Nada wants to control but Kiang postures up. Nada might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Kiang haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Nada shoots in for a takedown but Kiang shows good takedown defense. Nada has a takedown stuffed.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nada shoots in and drives through. Kiang sprawls well. Yawa Kiang has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Way Nada. Nada is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Kiang's half guard. Nada slows the pace down in half guard. Kiang is looking to improve his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kiang is staying active underneath Nada, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Nada is taking a breather. Kiang says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Nada is thwarting Kiang's attempts to control the position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Well, if Nada is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Way Nada will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Nada tries for a takedown but Kiang sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Nada closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Nada lands in his opponent's guard. Nada prevents Kiang from getting back to his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kiang is controlling Nada's posture. Kiang wants to sweep but no luck.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nada with a flurry of punches that miss. Kiang controlling the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kiang preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Nada sitting in guard, not really doing much.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Nada shoots in for a takedown but Kiang shows good takedown defense. Nada goes for a double leg but Kiang avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Kiang continues to drive forward. Kiang is looking to counter with a body kick. Yawa Kiang has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Way Nada.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Nada looks for a takedown but Kiang sprawls well. Kiang appears to be looking for a big counter. Kiang fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Nada avoids it really well and circles away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kiang shoots for a takedown but Nada saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Nada thinks about the counter body kick. Nada will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. A quick step to the side and Kiang tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Kiang looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Nada misses with a takedown attempt - Kiang sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Kiang quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Kiang goes for a double leg but Nada avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Nada continues to drive forward. Kiang moves out of the way of the counter high kick fromNada. Nada wants a takedown.
Kiang lands a takedown into guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Nada pulls Kiang in close to prevent any damage. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Yawa Kiang will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! And we move into the final round! Kiang keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Nada gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Nada is looking to stand back up but Kiang counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Nada.

Way Nada has got the better of the ground game so far. Nada desperately trying to maintain half guard. Kiang is thwarting Nada's attempts to control the position. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Kiang trying to control from Nada's half guard. Nada has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Nada is pulling down on Kiang's head. It's preventing any offense from Kiang, at least for the moment. Kiang sitting in guard, not really doing much. Nada trying to keep a closed guard but Kiang is proving a slippery customer.
That's three minutes gone in the round.

Kiang is fending him off so far but Nada persists. Nope, Kiang circles away and we're back to standing. Kiang feinted there with a counter leg kick. Yawa Kiang has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Way Nada.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Nada looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. It appears Kiang was looking to counter with a kick there. Nada shoots in but no luck this time. Kiang jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Kiang fails with the takedown and Nada counters with a nice kick to the body.
And that's the end of the fight! Yawa Kiang showed his dominance in that final round. I think Kiang has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
