Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 14 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joseph Telushikin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Tao Ishinoba! The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Paul Aken and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ishinoba tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Telushikin was well out of range. Poor timing from Ishinoba. We've been informed that Ishinoba has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Telushikin moves into the clinch successfully.
Telushikin lands a right hand that snaps the head of Ishinoba backwards. Ishinoba is trying to push Telushikin away but Telushikin has him pressed against the ropes, so he's going nowhere. Ishinoba tries to break the clinch but Telushikin is controlling the position. Telushikin lands on the inside with an uppercut. Telushikin scores with an uppercut up the middle. A short right from Telushikin on the inside. Telushikin keeps control of Ishinoba as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Telushikin lands a right hand. Telushikin lands with a left to the head. Still in the clinch, Telushikin scores with a nice short uppercut. Telushikin lands a right hand that snaps the head of Ishinoba backwards. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A short right hand to the side of the head by Telushikin. Ishinoba looking to slow down the pace here. Telushikin lands an uppercut.
Ishinoba is rocked! Telushikin breaks the clinch momentarily and cracks Ishinoba with a big right hook that drops him to the canvas! Ishinoba looks like he might be in big trouble here! The referee has started the count straight away and we're up to 5 already. Ishinoba get to one knee - can he make it back to his feet? No, he's flopped back to the mat - he's out - this one is all over!
