Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lysander Pollio (ranked 4608 p4p, 4478 weight class) and Bill Bo (ranked 524 p4p, 0 weight class). Bill Bo has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Lysander Pollio!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Bill Bo!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Alexandre Firmino and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bo lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Pollio backs up against the cage.
It looks like Lysander Pollio has been cut.
Pollio just misses with a punch to the body.
Bo instigates a clinch.
Bo is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Bo has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Pollio has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Bo is trying to keep an underhook but Pollio manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Bo wants to improve his position but Pollio is controlling well.
Pollio is thwarting Bo's attempts to control the position.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Pollio lands a nice short elbow.
Pollio looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Bo with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

That was a close round but I would say that Lysander Pollio will probably get the nod.

Bo tries to close the distance and clinch up but Pollio swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Lysander Pollio seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pollio tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bo was well out of range. Poor timing from Pollio.

A looping hook to the body misses from Pollio. Bo does a little dance to reset his feet.

and Bo counters with a straight right hand.
Pollio fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bo manages to avoid it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Pollio is looking to wear down Bo with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Bo is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.

Bo shoots in for a takedown but Pollio shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Pollio got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bo has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Pollio has managed to get both his arms back between Bo's legs - danger averted.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Bo uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Pollio.
Bo shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Pollio but Pollio pushes him off and we're back to square one.
As Bo tries to get set, Pollio tries to push him back and clinch up but Bo manages to avoid the attempt.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Pollio throws a body shot but no joy.
Pollio just misses with a punch to the body.
Pollio circles away from the clinch attempt.
Pollio misses the shot to the body.
Bill Bo is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Bo fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Pollio swings for the body but Bo moves out of range.
Pollio closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Pollio lands in his opponent's guard.
Bo wriggles free and stands up.
And that's the end of the fight!
Bill Bo comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Pollio has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
