PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Make Makkonen (ranked 2504 p4p, 2526 weight class) and Geryon Macropus (ranked 101 p4p, 103 weight class). The key to victory for Make Makkonen has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Sam Margolis and Paul Tew.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Macropus throws a lazy right hand but Makkonen sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Makkonen was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Macropus tries to clinch there but Makkonen circles away.
Makkonen tries to counter with a takedown but Macropus is quick to defend against it.
Macropus misses with a body punch
and Makkonen counters with a nice uppercut.
Makkonen looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Makkonen walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Macropus tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Makkonen manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Makkonen shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Macropus lands a big right hand that sends Makkonen crashing to the mat! Macropus stays standing though and waves Makkonen back to his feet!

Macropus ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Makkonen's jaw. Makkonen's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Macropus does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
